Stephen Ministers

Stephen Ministers are congregation members trained by Stephen Leaders to offer high-quality, one-to-one Christian care to people going through tough times. A Stephen Minister usually provides care to one person at a time, meeting with them once weekly, for about an hour.

Stephen Ministers must;

Complete a formal 50-hour training session, meeting weekly for 2 hours each week.
Maintain the confidential relationship between themselves and their care receiver
Meet once monthly for continuing education, and peer group supervision meetings
Make a two-year commitment to the ministry
