WELCOME TEAM
Our Welcome team is dedicated to ensuring that every person who attends is welcomed, engaged, informed, and served. This team consists of several positions, such as Door Greeters, Ushers, Welcome Desk Attendants, Lobby Greeters, and Student/Children Greeters.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Our Children‘s Ministry Team is devoted to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for our church‘s youngest members. We strive to provide activities and events that foster spiritual growth and development, emphasizing the importance of faith, community and fellowship. Our team works hard to ensure our children have a positive experience at church and feel welcomed, loved and accepted. A background check is REQUIRED.
STUDENT MINISTRY (6th-12th Grade)
Our Student Ministry Team is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for our church‘s students. We strive to foster spiritual growth and provide meaningful activities and events. Our team works to ensure our students are able to connect with the church community and feel welcomed, loved and accepted. We are passionate about helping our students grow in their faith and develop strong relationships with God. A background check is REQUIRED.
PRAYER TEAM
Our Church Prayer Team is a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to offering up prayers for our church members and visitors. Prayer is an important part of our spiritual journey and our team is made up of prayer warriors who are devoted to interceding on behalf of the church, our visitors, and those in our community.
WORSHIP TEAM
Our instrumentalists and vocalists create a powerful atmosphere of worship through their music. If you would like to serve in this capacity, please contact jon@fbcalachua.com to set up an audition and become part of a dedicated team to lead our congregation in worship.
TECH TEAM
At FBC Alachua, we want to provide a space for people with creative gifts to use their talents to glorify Jesus and help others. Whether you are into music, photography, videography, graphic design, sound engineering, lighting, or anything else creative, you are welcome to join our Tech Team!
THE GOOD CUP
Our Church Coffee Team, “The Good Cup”, is a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for our church members and visitors. We strive to provide a high–quality coffee experience each time our members visit our church. Our team works diligently to ensure our coffee is always fresh. Come join this passionate and friendly team and serve our congregation and visitors with a smile.
MISSION & OUTREACH TEAM
Our Church Mission & Outreach Team is a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to serving both locally and around the world. We strive to share the love of Christ by engaging in mission trips, outreach programs, and other service opportunities.
HOSPITALITY TEAM
Our Hospitality team is an amazing group of individuals who serve our church through the gift of food and accommodation. Whether it is a potluck meal, or a special event like a Christmas or Easter, the Hospitality Team is always prepared to serve our church family. The team is made up of a diverse group of church members, each with their own unique talents and contributions to our church family. Their commitment to service is unparalleled, and their passion for providing for our congregation is evident in every event they coordinate.
CARE MINISTRY
Our Care Ministry provides emotional and spiritual support to our church and community. We believe that no one should ever have to go through difficult times alone, and this ministry provides an avenue for us to come alongside one another in a time of need. If you are looking to serve our community and church family with emotional, spiritual, or practical support, our Care Ministry is the right ministry for you to join!
HELPS MINSTRY
Has God gifted you with being good with your hands? If so, our Helps Ministry Team is perfect for you! We are dedicated to providing assistance to our church members and community through a variety of needs such as mowing lawns, fixing roofs, repairing homes, etc. . We strive to meet the needs of our congregation and community through service, outreach, and support. We are passionate about reaching the needs of our congregation and community through the gifts God has given us.
