Children’s Ministry
We have an exciting ministry for children birth through 5th grade. We’ve broken that ministry into two branches: Greenhouse Birth-Kindergarten, and Clubhouse 1st-5th. We offer programming that we are sure you and your child will find exciting, meaningful and that purposefully introduces Jesus Christ to your child and encourages them to grow in their faith.

Sunday School
What is Sunday School? Sunday School is what we call our Bible study groups. Our childrens’ classes take place at 9:15 in the Family Ministry Center. The classes are broken down by age and school grade and are each led by fantastic teachers who have a heart for children.
What can we expect for our first morning? Our Family Ministry Center was designed not just for effective teaching space but also for the safety and security of your child. So when you arrive, please go to the registration desk on your left. The process takes only a few minutes to register your child and when you’re done a name tag and a pick up tag will print. Once you have those one of our welcome staff will be happy to take you to your child’s class and introduce you to his or her teachers.
After the Sunday School hour, grade school children need to be picked up and brought over to the Sanctuary for our morning service.

- 3-4 Year Olds – Room 305
- Kindergarten & 1st Grades – Room 304
- 2nd & 3rd Grades – Room 302
- 4th & 5th Grades – Room 321
Kids Worship
Every week we offer Kids Worship for kids kindergarten through fifth grade. Bring your children into the main worship service and after enjoying worshipping with singing, they will be excused to Kids Worship. You’re invited to go with them to meet the team and see where they’ll be learning.
Feel called to kids ministry?
We are always looking for Godly men and women to serve our kids by providing a Christian example and an open heart. If you’d like to serve these are the steps to take.
- Be a member of First Baptist Church.
- Complete our screening process including the online background check system located below.
- Talk with CJ, especially if you have any questions on opportunities to serve or how to complete any of the other steps.
